This is the home of the amazing McKenzie Second Grade! Our teachers are Mrs. McLaughlin, Mrs. Fink, Mrs. White, and Mrs. Walker. We will have a great year exploring, experimenting, and having fun learning.
Cool!

What a neat picture! I don't think I have ever seen butterfly eggs before. Thank you for sharing!! 2nd grade is learning alot of cool things!!
ReplyDeleteWow! That's amazing!!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that butterfly eggs were green! Thanks for teaching me something I didn't know about butterflies!
-Mr. Fink
I am impressed with the Butterfly eggs!
ReplyDeleteDid you know that most insects have 4 stages in their life cycle? Egg, Larva, Pupa, Adult (and then the adult lays more eggs). Moths and house flies have this type of life cycle.
A few insects have 3 stages. (Egg, nymph, adult) An example of this is a grasshopper and cricket. :)
Good readers are good Scientists! :) Mrs. Fink
That is so neat and amazing! It's a science experiment that keeps on giving! Not very many people can say that they know what a butterfly egg looks like and 2nd grade has an abundance of them. So, are you going to keep them and study them?
