Cool! Wonder what it feels like coming out of the chrysalis?

Butterflies are beautiful and fun to watch! They are also very helpful, in nature, where they pollinate plants just the same as bees do. Each species of Butterflies will only lay eggs on one or two "host" plants. Your Monarch butterfly will only lay eggs on a Milkweed plant. To attract butterflies to your garden or yard, you can plant milkweed seeds. The butterflies will lay their eggs there, and the larvae will eat the milkweed plants as they grow.
ReplyDeleteGreat job on growing the butterflies and releasing them into the environment!

Wow! I know you had so much fun learning about the cycles of the butterly! I am sure it was so exciting to see them fly away!

It's so fun to watch butterflies. My favorite part is watching them come out of their chrysalis. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad Mrs. White's class told me about their worms when they came to music class.
